Some years back, my little cousin changed the screen resolution of my PC unknowingly and when I opened the PC, I thought the screen was damaged unknown to me it was the screen resolution that was altered from the recommended settings.
To change the screen resolution of your PC, on your desktop right-click and select ‘Display settings’.
Under resolution, the recommended resolution for your screen based on the size of your PC’s screen is always stated, in the case of my laptop the recommended resolution is 1366 x 768.
It is the best practice to always keep the screen resolution of your PC at the recommended resolution except in a special case where you want to have a smaller resolution or different resolution.
