A Favicon is small image that appears on top of your browser’s tap besides the website or webpage title. This post will show you how to add a favicon to a WordPress site.
Go to the ‘customize’ section of your WordPress theme and select ‘Site Identity’
On the next section, upload the image you wish to use as a Favicon – the ideal size is 512 x 512 pixel (px).
Click on Publish and you can now see your Favicon on your browser’s tab
