The new YouTube algorithm allows a viewer to customize the home feed so give the viewers video contents based on their area of preference. You can clear your YouTube watch history to get an empty home feed and then customize your home feed based on your need.
To clear using PC (the same steps apply on mobile)
Click on ‘History’ on the left homepage
and click on ‘clear all watch history’ on the left
Once you do that, your YouTube home feed will be empty and will appear like the screenshot below
In order for videos to appear on your home feed, you need to run a search query and watch at least one video from that search results. YouTube will now customize your feed and show you videos mostly related to your search query
